Question by M and A: Is it possible to get all the nutrients my body needs w/o taking a daily multi-vitamin?
In an attempt to sell their multi-vitamins, my gym’s employees frequently claim that you no matter how well you eat throughout the day your body still needs supplements to get all that it needs. That true?

Definitely not true! As long as you are eating reasonably well (i.e. you are getting a daily amount of FRESH non-processed fruits and vegetables) you should be absolutely fine. In fact, getting too many vitamins can actually strip vitamins out of your body. I do not take any supplements of any kind and my doctor tells me I am the picture of health. Of course, that’s just me, and everyone is different, so I would go off your doctor’s advice. I wouldn’t entirely trust what gym employees say, as they often work on commission and are probably trying to sell you something.

Yet medium protein and good carb diet will work best for this body type. So let me say that again, typically no person is only one stereotype. Most have a little bit of at least two types. Chest is by far the most popular muscle to train by most beginners and is a very impressive part of a more advanced bodybuilder’s physique. The chest muscles are made up of the pectoralis major and the pectoralis minor. The pectoralis major is the bigger of the two and spans most of the clavicle and sternum and attaches to the upper arm. It has several important functions at the shoulder: flexion, adduction (towards body), and medial (inward) rotation.

The pectoralis minor is a thin triangular muscle that lies beneath the pectoralis major and is responsible for similar functions. Chest Exercises – Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes exercise is very similar to both the decline dumbbell flyes and the Butterflies. Position yourself on a free standing flat bench, flat on your back. Have your spotter hand you each dumbbell. Incline Barbell Bench Press exercise is very similar to the regular barbell bench press except that you will be using an incline free weight bench press machine and your upper chest will be the muscle group worked instead of your middle chest. Close Grip Bench Press works the inner part of your chest. Do not take the bar too close however, leave at least two fists worth of space in between your hands.
