Question by : What strength training exercises can i do without weights to tone up and lose weight?
Im a girl so i don want to be bulky and brawny i want the lean look but of course with muscle. I do know that when you build muscle even after you’re done working out your muscles still continue to burn calories and fat increasing your metabolism.

But what workouts or exercises can i do that will help me tone up while simultaneously losing weight and creating a lean look?

no website dieting programme will work, the most best excersize to do is:

running.
Jogging.
Sit ups. (50 a day) – (100)
walking to near places instead of driving or catching the bus.
Bike rides
Gym (if oldernough)
Drinking Water instead of fizzy or alcholic drinks,
Stop smoking (if you do)
Don’t eat bread or lots or carbohydrates

these should work im 14 and it’s worked for me but my metabolism is slow so it took me sometime.

To get a toned butt & thighs, most women turn to pilates or yoga or some other program that doesn’t involve weights. These types of exercises can help you, but you’ll get faster results from lifting weights, not to mention the huge fat burning benefits there are. This one lifting exercise can help strengthen your lower back, hamstrings, and buttocks while helping your body fight fat.

The exercise I’m going to talk about are called Romanian Deadlifts. They are also called straight leg deadlifts, but I don’t like to call them that because they give the wrong impression. You should never straighten (and lock) your legs when you’re exercising.

Romanian Deadlifts

To do this exercise, you will need a barbell or dumbbells that you can easily lift. As with any weight lifting exercise, you’ll want to start out light until you get the form down perfect, then work up in weight to get a better workout.

Standing straight up, hold the weights with straight arms right in front of your thighs (you arms will be loose & hanging). Keep your knees slightly bent through the whole exercise. Bend at the waist until your back is about parallel with the ground.

Throughout this exercise you should keep your back as straight as possible. If you can’t tell do it in front of a mirror or have a friend spot you to make sure you have good form. You can hurt your back if you hunch it and try to lift too much weight.

It’s a relatively short movement, and you’ll find that you can do a lot of weight once you get the form down and practice a few times. You’ll feel it mainly in your hamstrings, butt, and lower back.

Abs Exercises That Tone Your Stomach Fast

There are tons of gimmicks out there that promise to tone your abdominal muscles quickly but do nothing beneficial for you at all…

The best way to build up washer board abs is to do some good old fashioned work outs. Now I don’t mean lay down on your floor and start doing crunches… If you aren’t doing the abs exercises right; you will have little to no results to show for all your hard work.

Although many people think that having rock solid or sexy abs is next to impossible it’s actually not that hard… And it doesn’t take that long to start seeing results either.

Some people just assume that you need to spend long hours at the gym to see any real results; and this just isn’t true at all.

There are a few things to always think about when working your abdominal region… Firstly, you need to know how to exercise efficiently.

You first need to master technique and then you can move into resistance and weight training to see maximum results in the shortest amount of time.

Focus more on free weights rather than machine exercises; this will give you a much more cut look instead of just a smooth look… Unless of course you’re going for a nice smooth look.

You also need to know which workouts work which muscle groups; your abdominal muscles are made up of many sections so it’s important to know so that you can give yourself the right amount of time for recovery.

You should only be working the same muscle group every other day… If you work the same spot every day, your muscles will never recover and you’ll actually get weaker.

You’ll also have to eat healthier if you want truly fast results… You need to eat lean portions of protein and always plan your meals out ahead of time so that you can be sure of your portion sizes.

You may think that you don’t need to do this if you’re going to build muscle but you actually do need to lose weight to build muscle even if you’re already thin; you have to burn off that layer of fat over your abdominal region no matter how thin it is…

The main thing to always keep in mind is to never give up. Like everything, getting the perfect set of abs is a process that takes self discipline and hard work; just stick with it and you’ll get your desired result.

A List Of The Best Abdominal Exercises – 3 Ab Exercises To Really Tone Your Stomach

You will find in this article a list of the best abdominal exercises that will strengthen and tone your abs. Slowly move back and repeat the same movement on the opposite side and hold once again. This is a great workout for your abs and really strengthens the muscles. This Is not as easy as it sounds.

3. Abdominal scissors

Lie on your back both your legs and your arms extended away from your body at about a 45 degree angle. Bring your shoulders and your arm forward while simultaneously bringing your legs and hips so that they cross over. You should feel a strong contraction in your stomach area.

4. Knee tucks

This one requires some balance. Using a stability ball assume a push up position with your shins on the end of the ball with your hands flat on a mat. Tuck your knees in under your body as you move the ball closer to your hands, whilst elevating your rear. This one can be a bit tricky but well worth practicing as it is an excellent exercise to incorporate into your training sessions.

5. The ab wheel.

This is a challenging exercise but is great for isometric abdominal strength.

With your knees on a mat, hold the ab wheel out in front of you and roll the wheel forward while extending your body out. You will need to support your weight at the knees and the ab wheel. Hold the position for a moment before rolling back. You will certainly feel this one.
